Hydraulic works in Wuye District, Abuja - Nigeria
The Wuye District is one of the second phase urban development areas of Abuja, the new Capital of Nigeria. The total area to be developed extends over 425 ha, with a total number of served plots of 869. The foul sewer and the stormwater drainage systems are part of the wider complex of urban works in this area.
Foul Sewer System
The foul sewer system, in PVC, is divided in primary and secondary.
The main network could have a diameter of 400 mm or 300 mm with a total length of 12169 m.
The secondary network has a diameter of 200 mm with a total length of 14687 m.
The plots service connection, in PVC, is made by pipes of 150 mm diameter with a total length of 6801 m.
Stormwater drainage system
The main network, in concrete, could have a diameter of 1200/900/600/400 mm. The total length is equal to 37753 m.
The pits service connection, in PVC, is made by pipes of 400/200 mm diameter with a total length of 8775 m.
Road network
