Hydrological, hydraulic and scour studies on four major bridges along the East-West road - Nigeria

The involved bridges are the following:

• Forcados River bridge at Patani
• Choba Bridge
• Mbiama Bridge
• Nun River bridge at Kaiama

For each bridge detailed hydrological and hydraulic studies, including the three-dimensional river modelling, have been carried out. The general erosion and the scour effect on the piling foundations have been evaluated.
