Tender for the design of the Second Niger Bridge between Onitsha and Asaba in Anambra & Delta States - Nigeria

The Second River Niger bridge proposed alignment is approximately 1.5 km south of the existing bridge. The total bridge length will be 1.5 km. The proposal includes the approach roads on a new alignment for about 30 Km to bypass the town of Onitsha, minor bridges and interchanges along the road alignment.

The proposed bridge and road will have dual carriageway with 6 traffic lanes and a pedestrian walkway on each side. 

Design for tender under Design, Build, Finance, Operate, Maintain & Transfer (DBFOMT) Arrangement for the consortium leaded by Johnsons Construction Co. Abuja Limited.
