Design of the hydraulic interventions for the reconstruction of the bridges over the rivers Rio Masone Ollastu and Rio San Girolamo in Sardinia – Italy
These works are part of the overall hydraulic rearrangement of the two rivers, involved in the flood event of October 2008.
The design consisted of the following steps:
- characterization of the hydrographic network interfering with the newly rebuilt infrastructure;
- hydraulic and geotechnical checks of the box culverts in project along the track;
- evaluation of the hydraulic compatibility of the entire intervention;
- resolution of the hydraulic
interference with the definition and design of elements necessary for
drainage and monitoring of the street platform.
